چکیده

China promptly took the leading step to mitigate spread of COVID-19, producing first scientific guidelines assuming health above energy consumption and significantly changing HVAC/AHU operation. The research intended fulfill gap by measuring impact on use intensity, CO2 emissions, operation costs related workplaces. are long-term sector industry trends following occupants’ safety concerns, today they applied nursing homes. extended study post-COVID-19 scenarios crossing those settings with published reports telework predictions. methodology resorts Building Energy Simulation software assess Chinese standard large office building 8 climate zones 17 subzones between pre- under guidelines. outcomes suggest an upward trend in intensity (11.70–12.46%), emissions (11.13–11.76%), (9.37–9.89%) for buildings located “warm/mixed” “subarctic” climates, especially colder regions high heating demands. On other hand, figures “very hot” “hot/warm” climates lower (14.76–15.47%), (9%), (9.64–9.77%).

Benchmarking the energy efficiency of commercial buildings

Benchmarking energy-efficiency is an important tool to promote the efficient use of energy in commercial buildings. Benchmarking models are mostly constructed in a simple benchmark table (percentile table) of energy use, which is normalized with floor area and temperature. This paper describes a benchmarking process for energy efficiency by means of multiple regression analysis, where the relat...
